Like all aspiring animators, "Mighty Mouse The New Adventures" had a huge impact on me, particularly the balding, psychopath, Petey Pate. Petey was the first crazy character I ever laid eyes at four years old. I remember watching the episode "Night On Bald Pate" in my parents' bedroom one brisk Saturday Morning. While threatening Pearl Pureheart, the image at 00:06:43 changed my life forever. That was my first time seeing a cartoon character with blood shot eyes and crooked teeth.
