NY Comic Con 2009

I'm not gonna lie. Things have been kinda slow for me. Looking for work, trying to stay motivated, etc. I thought I should at least share some pics from last weekend's NY comic con, the only day I can openly be a dork. Oh wait, I do that EVERY day.

April O'Neil? My cartoon crush in PERSON? Yeah, I know it is not really her, but I wonder if she's single?

This girl was at this section the first day. She was not there the next two days. I wonder if the fan boys scared her off?

I like Toitels!

My buddy, Steve.

Yeah, I wish I was this much of a chick magnet.

Me and Frederator great, Dan Meth

God, I'm getting that spidey and venom the minute they come out. I love previews of toys.

Candle Jack from Freakazoid. Best costume at the con, hands down. Oh crap! I said his name!

Wish I had this in my room.

My friend Luke with Pete "Chewy" Mayhew.

The GREAT John Romita. Jr. I waited an hour for him to sign one of my Spider Man comics. Totally worth it.

Wish my friend Misha could have seen this.

Should have worn my Venom costume for this pic. Would have made alot more sense.

Jamie Reed, American Gladiator. I met her once at my friend, Todd Broder's birthday party. I got connections.

Wish there was a recession price for these imported beauties.

My two video game icons, in their custom made mighty muggs glory.

The awesome Jim Lee. I got him to sign one of my Joker books before he left. Jealous?

My buddies Chris Romas, and Frank Calfa. I had alot fun last weekend. I was bummed I missed comic con last year, so I'm gonna make sure I'll never miss another one. it's a great oppurtunity to meet alot of cool artists. I gotta go. Candle Jack is pulling me away. One more thing...

PICCOLO RULEZ!

Monster Drawings

I love monsters and demons. I think they're cooler than aliens and robots. Monsters seem to come in different varieties and species. They could be reptilian, furry, have claws, wings, fins, anything! I made up a species of demons for one of my future cartoons. I call them "Deoblins".
These two are a deoblin platypus and deoblin gilla monster. copyright of me.

Deoblin Scorpion Fish copyright of me.

I also like cute little creatures that turn into beast. It's cool when they progressively start to turn into a hulking behemoth. I made up this Wereowl for another one of my future copyrighted cartoons. This is the creature beginning to transform.

Transformation complete.

My last post for 2008! '08 was a pretty good year, but let's hope for an even better year for 2009! Hopefully I can start the year right fixing my damn computer. Itunes is missing and bonjour won't let me download a new one! Any thoughts? Oh well. Happy New Year!

Holiday Hijinks

Merry Christma.....uh....Happy Hanukka....eeeh.....Happy Kwanz.....sigh..... Y'know. With political correctness nowadays, it's so hard to wish anyone any of these festive holidays. Every where I go, people have to say "Happy Holidays". It kinda makes me sad that people have to rescrict themselves from saying "Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzza, etc." I'm proud to say "Merry Christmas" to people. And if you celebrate Hanukkah and Kwanzza, say it with pride! If you celebrate it, say it!

But if you don't want to offend anyone, make up a holiday that EVERYONE can celebrate!

But I celebrate Christmas. So I'm going to say it. MERRY CHRISTMAS! But also, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzza to anyone who celebrates it!

Pic from last year. Oldie but a goodie

Note Book Drawings

These are demons I made up. Plans for the VERY distant future.
I love drawing in notebooks with a ball point pen. I love the little ink blots.

BTW, Yes I had another post, but my clients wanted to take it down.
Gotta keep it on the mum. I understand. I wouldn't want to tell people my
personal future plans. (BUT I'M DYING TO!)
